The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
